![]() ![]() Or hey, if you don't want to do any of the thinking, slap down a wood-fired generator or two and see if that gets things going - if it does, you weren't generating enough power, and if it doesn't, you have some other issue. Using the above example as a rough guide, you should be able to estimate whether or not you're potentially consuming more power than you're generating. I don't remember how much standing lamps use these days, I'm pretty sure it was recently drastically lowered, but just for example, with the power usage they used to use, they'd be the equivalent of 0.375 coolers each. Autodoors are the equivalent of 0.25 coolers each. I removed the newly added mods but still no luck. Then i decided to start a new colony trying some new mods for a change. Now your colonists will always fill up that storage area with plant matter so your chef doesn't have to move back and forth a thousand times to make a couple simple dishes. Then it kind of depends on what else you have. I came back after almost a year and i was enjoying the game for about a week. Pro trick, put a 1x3 storage area down at your chef's table (literally where the pawn stands) and set that to only plant matter, then set the priority to maximum. Step 3: Switch on the Turrets so that your colonists can shoot the Ship. Step 2: Arrange a line of sandbags to provide cover for your colonist as they advance to get the weapon within the Ship’s firing range. If you have the standard assortment of a tailor bench (0.6 coolers), smithy (1.05), machining table (1.75), smelter (3.5), and crematorium (1.25), you're down a fair bit more (now you'd have enough power for 8.1 coolers). Step 1: Build turrets around it immediately after the ship lands and build power lines from the turrets. You probably have a stove at least (1.75 coolers right there). That's not me saying "as long as you have less than 18 coolers you're fine", that's me saying "if you are using more power than the equivalent of having 18 coolers, you don't have enough power". Just for reference, it could power no more than 18 coolers before running out of juice. One geothermal generator won't get you very far in the long run.
